With a deep understanding of ragas, talas, and Carnatic compositions, I offer a unique approach to teaching South Indian classical music on the Western piano.
My lessons are designed for both beginners and intermediate learners who are interested in exploring Carnatic music through the piano or keyboard. I focus on teaching varnams, keerthanas, geethams, and manodharma sangeetham in a structured and student-friendly manner.
I also teach how to adapt gamakas and traditional phrases to the keyboard layout, helping students retain the authenticity of the Carnatic sound while exploring a modern instrument.
