We created the site for the primary purpose of providing a resource to faculty at colleges and universities to facilitate the implementation of new robotics courses or the improvement of existing courses. We would particularly like to enable institutions without core expertise in robotics to begin to introduce these concepts into their curricula. In developing and populating the site, we have prioritized providing original, easily-modifiable curricular content, typically in .ppt and .doc formats, and covering the range of primary areas of robotics pedagogy, including robot mechanics, control, motion planning, vision, and localization, with less emphasis on secondary areas and courses in which robotics is used as platform to teach concepts in other academic areas. Gyan Lab is a unique education pedagogy and curriculum based on the concept of Fun-ducation (Fun + Education). Gyan Lab is focussed to democratize the school system by complementing theoretical lessons with hands-on, practice-based learning with a well structured blend of activities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Life Skills and Humanities to build an intuitive, creative and innovative future human resource of India. Our complete focus is to enhance the application ability of kids in a relaxed, fun environment and take care of skill development during school life. Gyan Lab curriculum has been built to help our kids move ahead in life based on their interests and capabilities rather than in a crammed and forcefully done manner. This will also ensure higher productivity and greater value system and happiness. The Gyan Lab programs, built on foundations of research-driven curriculum and facilitated by trained faculty members, help students connect on an everyday basis what they learn in class to the real world. Gyan Lab Curriculum is aligned with National Curriculum Framework 2005 (used by CBSE School across India) and four of the World's best curriculum, standards and benchmarks. This is a proof of the fact that we are extremely committed to give students the best of behavioural, cognitive, constructive and empathy-based pedagogies of learning and growing. We have committed ourselves to the Education Pedagogy of Constructivism that is built on the foundation of a learning process which allows a student to experience an environment first-hand, thereby, giving the student reliable, trust-worthy knowledge. WHO WE ARE? M/s Jay Robotix Pvt. Ltd. is established in March 2010 to cater to the high demand for low cost automation solutions for Industrial, Entertainment & Educational sectors. It is the sister concern of M/s Jaya Mechano Industries which has over 20 years of experience in providing client specific turnkey automation solutions to power & automobile sectors. We are also proud to say that M/s Jay Robotix is now laying its stone in Design & Manufacturing of SPM’s. Robots are mainly used for repetitive actions, hazardous works & precise applications. Robotics revolution has started across the world a long back and we in India are still lagging behind. So with an aim to provide automation services in various sectors, Jay Robotix has taken the step to stay ahead of the rest and provide necessary automation solutions to the industry. In this context, Industries need many robotics professionals who are able to program the robots for the specific task. As we observe, there is talent in the students theoretically, but they lack when it comes to practice. In order to bridge the gap between the education & the industrial requirements, Jay Robotix has designed a variety of products to facilitate students to train on them and become suitable for taking up challenging jobs in industrial environment. “Our aim is to inculcate robotics in the roots of Indian education system” Jay Robotix – Educational robotics division Our technical sessions are simple, smart and are designed to inspire engineering & high school students to choose careers in the robotics industry and become the roboticists of tomorrow. We offer students with robot kits on which the students will assemble the robots and get trained. Hands-on sessions enable students to create interests in themselves which also enables them to grasp quickly. This not only creates interest, but also do create passion wherein they would try to explore new things by themselves. We have created a range of products for students at various levels of education. Some of our products in the educational sectors are Assaulter, Docile X & Blitz. Assaulter is developed for students who would like to start their dream of creating a robot. This is designed to be a robust modular mechanical platform where the parts of the robots can be attached/ detached to resize it as required by the application. Moreover assaulter is being developed further by Jay Robotix for use in Military to carry out task specific operations such as surveillance, bomb disposal and to attack on enemy targets. Docile X is an autonomous robot developed for students who would like to go a step further in robotics. This is a mobile robot research platform, where the students apply their programming skills on the robot to execute different actions. Docile X is armed with a range of sensors which enables it to tackle different types of operations. It can follow a line, follow a wall, avoid obstacles, and react to sound, light & GPS tracking ability. Blitz is an autonomous robot developed for school going children which has a good looking interface with a powerful backend controller programming. This is only one of its kinds in the world. This robot is designed to be a plug & play type wherein the users can plug the cables in the ports and use the necessary output to drive the motors accordingly. WIZMO is 4 feet tall intelligent humanoid robot which is developed to serve household, hospitals & hospitality sectors. It has the ability to play chess, play music, recognize people, avoid obstacles, intelligently route its path to the destination.
