Araise and Shine Classes

I am the founder and sole instructor of Araise and Shine Classes, where I teach Keyboard and Carnatic Vocal Music. I have been conducting music classes since 2015, and my goal has always been to help students build a strong foundation in music, step by step, while enjoying the process of learning.

With over 15 years of teaching experience, I’ve worked as a music teacher in schools and also conduct private training sessions. My passion for music is deeply rooted in tradition, and I love sharing that with students of all ages. Whether you are just starting or have some background in music, I adapt my teaching to suit your level.

I hold an M.A. in Tamil, and my experience spans across teaching both vocal and instrumental (keyboard) music. I focus on technique, rhythm, melody, and expression, helping students grow not only in their skill but also in their confidence as performers.

Each class is planned to suit the student's learning pace. I believe that music should be taught in a nurturing and supportive environment. For this reason, I offer both online and offline classes, allowing students from different locations to benefit from my sessions.

My teaching is structured but flexible, allowing room for creativity and improvisation. I do not currently provide certifications, as my focus is primarily on building musical skill and knowledge rather than exam-oriented instruction. However, I ensure each student is performance-ready with consistent practice and feedback.

Learning music is a journey that touches the heart and the mind. I consider it a joy and responsibility to guide students on this path, helping them discover the beauty and power of music in their own way.
