Hello! My name is Sreya, and I’m currently pursuing a B.A. in Functional English at Sree Kerala Varma College under the University of Calicut, Kerala. Alongside my degree, I am also pursuing a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), which has further strengthened my understanding of teaching methodologies and child-centered learning.

Teaching has always been my passion, and it is something that runs in my family, as my mother is also a teacher. This inspired me to pursue a career in education from an early age.

I have over three months of professional online teaching experience with YoungLabs, where I currently teach students from different parts of the world, including Japan, Taiwan, Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and many other regions. I have taught more than 20 international students, helping them improve their English and academic performance through interactive and personalized lessons.

In addition to online teaching, I also teach offline and currently mentor around 20–25 students. I have experience preparing students for ICSE, CBSE, and State Board examinations up to Class 12. Since I have personally studied under both the ICSE and State Board curricula, I understand the learning styles and academic requirements of different boards. I scored 95% in my ICSE Class 10 examinations and 98% in my State Board Class 12 examinations.

What I enjoy most about teaching is building confidence in students and making learning engaging, interactive, and easy to understand. I believe every student learns differently, and I adapt my teaching style to suit each learner’s needs.

I became interested in Preply after hearing excellent feedback from friends who recommended the platform.
