Elsa Kurian

I am Elsa Kurian. I am aspiring to become a home tutor. I hold a Postgraduate degree in English Language and Literature from All Saints College, Trivandrum and I graduated in 2022. My forte is English Grammar. I am mostly comfortable dealing with school students. I have the following awards to my name – the Young Learners English (YLE) Flyers Level Certificate, awards for Story Writing and Just A Minute (JAM). I participated in the Spotlight Poetry Stand. I won awards for Versification and Story Writing. I graduated as the Best Outgoing Student for the Dept. of English from All Saints College in Trivandrum. I am good at explaining concepts to varying levels of students. I have also taken classes in General English for undergraduate students in varying disciplines as part of Course Completion Credit under the University of Kerala. I am an amateur poet and have had several of my pieces published in school and college magazines. In 2019 I was part of a program called Walk- With- a- Scholar which is a mentoring program for undergraduate students. I also translated a book from a regional language into English recently.
