Overview

Although I am graduate from IIT Bombay, My love for Indian Classical Music and specially for Sitar attracted me to persue my hobby.

I learned Sitar from Late Ustad Shamim Ahmed Khan from 1995 to 2010. My Guru learned in turn from Bharat Ratna Pandit Ravi Shankarji.

I am traditionally student of Maihar Gharana and still follow the Maihar Gharana style playing.

I am also professional Sitar player. And as time permit I do play on stage.

I would love to pass on the deep heritage knoledge of Maihar Gharana to the students who are dedicated to learn Sitar.
