As a mechanical engineer with nine years of experience, I have always been passionate about teaching. I pursued my B. Tech in 2009 and completed my M—Tech in 2014. During my academic years, I discovered my love for imparting knowledge to others. I began my teaching journey at the Sripaty Institute of Management and Technology in 2015, where I have been teaching mechanical engineering subjects to B.Tech students. I have also provided private tuition to students preparing for their twelfth-standard examinations. Over the years, I have achieved excellent results, with more than 80% of my students scoring above-average marks.
My expertise lies in fluid mechanics, thermal engineering, heat and mass transfer, and thermodynamics, which are integral to mechanical engineering. I offer both online and offline classes, conducting interactive sessions that last for two hours. During my lessons, I use PowerPoint presentations to explain concepts effectively, and I provide comprehensive notes, tests, and assignments based on exam patterns.
My teaching style is focused on making the learning experience engaging and enjoyable for my students. Understanding the practical applications of theoretical concepts is crucial for grasping the subject matter effectively. Therefore, I incorporate real-world examples and case studies in my lessons to help my students relate to the material better. Apart from teaching, I also emphasise the importance of critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which are essential for any aspiring engineer. I encourage my students to ask questions and foster a classroom environment that promotes open discussion and active participation.
As an educator, I aim to empower my students with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in their academic and professional endeavours. Seeing my students succeed and achieve their goals is incredibly fulfilling, and it drives me to continually improve my teaching methods and stay updated with the latest advancements in my field.
