Is it true that Tamil language is almost same as it existed since its beginning in the written form?

Hi sunitha , yes, speaking and written forms are almost same for beginning... but when we start to teach tamil we have to start from some words which are same in both speaking and writing.

No. It changed a lot over the the period of century as it is almost 2000 year old language . The original tamil was used by ancient tamilian not currently used in written and spoken. Thirukural and many more old tamil poetry example for that
