How do I delete a company in tally?

Open tally and note the name of file on that co. Then close tally and go to the location folder open data folder and delete the folder of that co.

Firstly take a back up of the company you want to delete....just in case you may need the data for later. Thereafter - 1) From the gateway of Tally Press Alt + F3 Shortcut key of click on Alt+F3 cmp info. 2) In the company info menu select Alter menu, now you are in company alteration screen. 3) Now press Alt+D Shortcut Key 4) First confirmation message ‘Delete’ will be asked by Tally 5) Click on Yes or Press enter or press Y from your Key board. 6) Second confirmation message will be asked ‘Are you sure’. 7) Repeat the previous action Click on Yes The company is deleted. read less

select your company (alt+f3) then go to alter and then press enter key your company will display then pres alt+d(it will ask surety) then press enter.
