Only Tableau will not help you to become a Data Scientist. U cannot even think of it. You need tp learn Statistics, Modeling Concepts, Machine Learning, AI concepts , Tools like SAS/R/PYTHON ,many more....

Yes. Tableau helps to create powerful visualization. Visualization is very useful in order to communicate your findings. Having said that, R and Python also has powerful visualization libraries which can be used for the same purpose.

Does it make sense to master both Tableau and Qlikview?
Learning both doesn't habe any advantage. It is recommended to learn either Tableau or QlikView. Tableau is rich in features and widely adapted by many corporates. I hope this answers your question.
