Tableau comes with two main commercial product lines – Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server. It is not open source product, while the good thing about MS is that its desktop version(upto 1Gb of data size) is free. 1. Tableau is easy to develop.2. Cost wise MSBI is very low on comparing Tableau. Tableau has got very good Visualisation, MSBI is quickly catching up to Tableau but will require another year or so. read less
