I teach Mathematics, English, and Environmental Studies (EVS) to children in Nursery, LKG, and UKG. My journey as a tutor has just begun, and already it’s been incredibly fulfilling. Working with young learners has opened up a whole new world of discovery, patience, and creativity for me. Teaching foundational concepts at this early stage is both a big responsibility and a joyful experience.

Though my academic background is in Media and Entertainment, I have always had a deep interest in working with children and contributing to their growth. The communication and creative skills I gained from my postgraduate studies now help me design engaging, child-friendly lessons that are both fun and effective. I believe that learning at the pre-primary level should never feel like a burden—it should be exciting, hands-on, and full of curiosity.

In my classes, I use a play-based approach that combines storytelling, music, games, and hands-on activities. This method helps in keeping children attentive and encourages their participation. I understand that each child is unique, so I try to adapt my lessons according to their pace and style of learning. My goal is not just to teach a subject but to help them enjoy learning and build confidence.

I place strong emphasis on understanding the basics. Whether it's counting numbers, recognizing letters, or exploring the environment around them, I ensure that the child connects with the topic through real-life examples. I use simple language, visual aids, and a whiteboard during my online sessions to support better comprehension and retention. I believe learning should be interactive, not passive.

Each session is carefully planned to strike a balance between structured learning and playful exploration. I aim to create a safe, positive environment where children feel free to express themselves and ask questions. I find that when students feel heard and involved, they become more confident and eager to learn.

Although I’m new to tutoring, every day is a learning experience for me too. The joy in a child’s eyes when they grasp a new concept is incredibly rewarding. I’m excited to continue growing as a tutor and to keep finding new ways to make education fun and meaningful for little learners.
