For beginners in the stock market, it's generally recommended to start with long-term investing rather than short-term trading. Long-term investing involves buying and holding stocks for an extended period, typically years, with the expectation that they will increase in value over time. This approach allows beginners to focus on fundamental analysis, research, and building a diversified portfolio without the pressure of making frequent trading decisions.
