Yes you have to pay pre decided brokerage to your stock broker, transaction fees, SEBI turnover fees, stamp duty ,and service tax on bokerage. Dont scared of so many rates and taxes , these are minor amount .

If you go with broker you have to pay brokerage , govt & exchange tax , if you have your own license then you have to pay license fee , govt & exchange tax.
