Hello, my daughter is 14 years old, and she lost 1 year of school because wasn't living in india, so while learning the language and getting use here we decided to give her 1 year drop. She made the 8 class but due to personal reasons couldn't make the exam board. I want to know if there's any possibility that she receives home tuition and apply for board exam? If so, what class should we take for her? Currently we live in Pune and someone told me about NIOS board. Someone can help me with information please. Thanks in advance.

Is very important remark that she can't speak Hindi. Just read and write very basic.

As said by Rwitti and Pankaj, NIOS is the right choice. Subjects are optional and tests papers are availabale online. She can go for 'C' level course or Secondary Course. If you need any help or guidance in prearing , you can reach us .

Hey, I am Rwitti Khandelwal and I am a graduate in BTech, CS with an experience of 4 years

NIOS will be a very appropriate option. If she can speak English, then that will work a lot. It would be preferable she starts with class 9, which will help her cover every aspect of the syllabus.

Interdisciplinary Teacher

Dear Sir, NIOS would be the right choice. The mandate of the board is making education easy. Your daughter can give exam externally as well.

Yes there are lots of schools where 8th board is not compulsary. So you can give her tuition and make her to appear in 9th class test exam.

Open School is a good option.
