Yashi A.

Since joining Surendra Dental College and Research Institute in November 2025 as Assistant Professor and Consultant Maxillofacial Pathologist, I have combined teaching, diagnostic reporting, research and institutional quality work. I teach first- and third-year undergraduate students, and my first-year batch achieved a 100% pass rate, with 11 students securing distinction. As a consultant, I report on oral and maxillofacial biopsies and cytology. As a member of the Research Committee, I support faculty and student research, and through the Infection Prevention and Control Committee and the NABH team, I contribute to accreditation and safe-practice standards. On the research side, I have published case reports and reviews in peer-reviewed journals, including a paper on aggressive osteoblastoma mimicking osteosarcoma in the mandible in the Journal of Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery. I also hold two published patents, in oral cytology and in cost-effective digital pathology, and I am working on PROSPERO-registered systematic reviews. My work has earned first prizes for paper and poster presentations at national and international conferences, and I am a member of the Molecular Pathology Association of India
