IdentityI’m Ashen, and I live in Sri Lanka. For about a year now, I’ve been teaching Sinhala through online lessons to people from different backgrounds some who are just starting out and others who want to get more comfortable speaking the language.
In my lessons, I like to focus on real, everyday communication. I try to help students feel more confident with speaking, pronunciation, and understanding how Sinhala is actually used in daily life. I keep the classes relaxed and supportive, and I adjust the pace depending on what works best for each student.
