IdentityI am a Science teacher for middle and high school students, providing both home and online tuition. I hold a B.Sc. in Biotechnology with First Class honours and have recently completed my Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, with results currently pending.
I have teaching experience as a Science and History Teacher for Grade 6 at Gateway College, Colombo and I have also worked closely with a student with ADHD. This experience has helped me develop strong patience, adaptability and the ability to tailor lessons according to individual learning needs.
Teaching young students has strengthened my ability to break down complex concepts into simple and engaging explanations. I enjoy creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in their understanding. I use virtual tools and interactive resources to make lessons more engaging and interesting. While I ensure syllabus coverage and exam preparation, I also focus on developing deeper understanding and genuine interest in the subject.
