I have extensive teaching experience at both college and school levels, specializing in English language and literature. Working with diverse age groups and academic backgrounds has helped me develop a flexible, student-centered teaching approach. As a lecturer in an engineering college, I taught life skills and communication skills to undergraduate students, prepared materials, delivered lectures, developed language and professional communication skills, conducted assessments, and provided academic guidance. This experience highlighted the importance of combining language proficiency with practical and professional skills. Later, as an assistant teacher in a school, I taught English language and literature, planned and delivered engaging lessons, assessed progress, maintained classroom discipline, and provided individual support. I used interactive and activity-based strategies to encourage participation and make learning meaningful. I also coordinated Olympiad examinations, mentored students, organized language activities such as elocution, group discussions, and JAM sessions, contributed to school publications and events, and collaborated with colleagues and senior teachers on academic programs. These roles strengthened my skills in classroom management, lesson planning, curriculum delivery, assessment, mentoring, communication, and teamwork. I believe in creating a supportive environment where students feel confident to participate, ask questions, express ideas, and develop effective communication skills. Teaching at both college and school levels has also enhanced my ability to adapt methodologies and design lessons according to students' changing learning needs.
