Vishnupriyan M

I am Vishnupriyan M, and I have completed my Msc in Physics at St.Joseph's College, Trichy, in 2023. I served as a Project Fellow at Bharathidasan University, Trichy, from January 2024 to August 2024. Subsequently, I joined the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, as a Project Assistant in the Solid State and Structural Chemistry Unit. In this role, I am responsible for laboratory management of the Optoelectronic Laboratory and contributing to electrical measurements of photodetectors, such as photoresponse measurement. I am highly intrigued by these techniques in electrical and optical characterisation and am committed to gaining comprehensive knowledge in this field. Regarding pedagogy, I am confident that the knowledge acquired during my academic career will enable me to educate students with an emphasis on conceptual understanding rather than rote memorisation. Concerning physics, I believe students should attain genuine comprehension and learning of the subject. I am certified in a STEM Trainer programme conducted by LMES Academy, where I learned modern teaching methods utilising software to facilitate understanding in physics. As an educator, I am always eager to learn, and I am confident that my experience will enable me to become an effective teacher.
