Mahendra Harsal

I am a Mathematics tutor at UrbanPro, teaching students of Classes 11 and 12. With one year of teaching experience, I focus on helping students develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and improve their problem-solving abilities. I believe that Mathematics becomes easier to understand when topics are explained clearly and systematically. My goal is to help students build confidence in the subject and approach challenging problems with a positive mindset.

I have completed my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degrees, and I am currently pursuing my Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics. My academic background has helped me strengthen my subject knowledge and develop effective teaching skills. It also enables me to understand the importance of presenting mathematical concepts in a structured manner so that students can grasp the fundamentals before progressing to more advanced topics.

During my teaching experience, I have enjoyed working with Class 11 and Class 12 students and helping them understand different mathematical concepts. I focus on identifying the areas where students face difficulties and explaining those topics in a simple, accessible way. I encourage students to ask questions, participate actively in lessons, and practise regularly to strengthen their understanding.

My teaching approach is structured and progressive. I begin each topic with the basic concepts and definitions before moving on to more complex applications and problem-solving techniques. I use relevant examples to explain mathematical principles and demonstrate how formulas and methods can be applied to different types of questions. This approach helps students develop logical thinking and understand the reasoning behind each solution rather than simply memorising procedures.

I use PowerPoint presentations and a whiteboard to make my classes more organised, clear, and engaging. Presentations help me explain important concepts systematically, while the whiteboard allows me to work through equations and solve problems step by step. By combining these teaching tools with practical examples, I aim to make even challenging topics easier for students to follow and understand.

I place considerable importance on regular practice and doubt clarification. I provide students with practice questions that help them apply what they have learned and identify areas that need further attention. I encourage them to attempt problems independently and explain their reasoning, which helps improve accuracy, analytical thinking, and confidence. I also address their doubts patiently to ensure they have a clear understanding before moving to the next topic.

I offer both online and offline Mathematics classes, adapting my teaching methods to suit students' needs and learning pace. My objective is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through difficult problems. Through clear explanations, structured lessons, and consistent practice, I strive to help students strengthen their mathematical foundations, improve their academic performance, and approach their examinations with greater confidence.
