I started teaching TOEFL aspirants after I took my first TOEFL test in 2011 and scored 114. Though I studied for TOEFL on my own, I understood effective teaching for TOEFL by tutoring my own friends who were taking the test at the time. Since then, I have been helping TOEFL aspirants get their dream score. All my students till date have scored between 103 to 116. This has put them right in the range required for their target schools in the US both for their masters degrees or an MBA. My teaching style is "learn via doing". I do not believe in teaching via lectures. I sit with my students and solve questions, understand their personal patterns, their mistakes, and help them improve. I keep my teaching a two-way process and I learn from my own students every day. For TOEFL teaching, I take a hybrid approach. I do in-person classes to begin with followed by home assignments and online tests that I develop myself. These tests mimic the real test experience.
