Paresh Sakala Vishwanath

I am a passionate educator with a strong blend of academic excellence, industry experience, leadership, and practical teaching exposure.

I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from Ramaiah Institute of Technology, where I built a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, engineering mechanics, design, and manufacturing. After graduation, I worked as an Equipment & Tool Design Engineer at Boeing Company, where I designed aerospace tooling using CATIA and ENOVIA, collaborated with cross-functional engineering teams, and gained valuable experience in product design, problem-solving, manufacturing processes, and engineering communication.

To further specialize, I pursued a Master's degree in Production Engineering & Management from KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm, Sweden), one of Europe's leading technical universities. During my master's, I specialized in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Supply Chain Management, Production Planning & Control, Project Management, Lean Manufacturing, Digital Manufacturing, and Operations Management.

My master's thesis was carried out in collaboration with Electrolux Group, where I worked extensively on Teamcenter PLM, engineering lifecycle management, business analysis, stakeholder management, and digital transformation projects. Alongside my studies, I also served as a Teaching Assistant at KTH for courses related to Product Lifecycle Management, Digital Factories, and Production Planning & Control, helping students understand complex engineering concepts through practical learning.

Teaching has always been close to my heart. During my undergraduate years, I was an active volunteer with the National Service Scheme (NSS), where I taught computer fundamentals and language skills to students from Grades 1–5 for nearly a year. This experience helped me develop patience, creativity, and the ability to explain concepts according to each student's learning pace.

Beyond academics, I have always been highly involved in leadership and extracurricular activities. At KTH, I led large student initiatives, managed teams of over 100 volunteers, coordinated international events, and worked extensively in business relations and sponsorships. These experiences significantly strengthened my communication, presentation, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.

I am also passionate about language, communication, and helping students build confidence. I believe that learning is most effective when concepts are explained through real-life examples, interactive discussions, and practical applications rather than rote memorization. My exposure to international education and multicultural environments has further enhanced my ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.

In addition to teaching, I have also developed strong sales, presentation, negotiation, and client communication skills through leadership roles, making me an effective communicator who can keep students engaged and motivated throughout the learning process.
