I am a 15+ years trained Indian Classical Vocalist, trained by Jayanta Sarkar, a teacher from Shruti Nandan Institute of Indian Classical Music. I have ample experience in professional vocals and have been a stage performer since a very young age. Have experience in playback music. I am also a music composer/producer so I have knowledge of soundscaping for which I can help students with tracks for home excercise or karaoke for helping them to perform on stage or social media. I am familiar with guitar playing and have knowledge of tabla (double distinction certified) alongside various other Indian instruments. As a Vocal Music and Music Composition Teacher at Urban Pro, I take pride in being recognized as a Super Tutor due to my top-ranking status. 🎶 With a B.Com degree and over 20 years of musical experience, I bring a unique blend of musical training and teaching expertise to my students. My musical journey includes 17 years of Indian Classical vocal training and 2 years of Western vocal training, mentored by some of the finest instructors from prestigious institutions. I’ve also performed on Akash Bani Bhavan for 5 years and freelanced as a playback singer across 30 countries. This extensive experience allows me to provide insights that enhance not only vocal skills but also personal growth. Teaching Philosophy In my classes, I focus on creating a conversational and engaging environment, which helps build strong relationships with my students. I guide them through the basics of vocal training, addressing any questions they may have and ensuring they grasp the concepts thoroughly. Training is my passion. Apart from music I am also a Training & Development Manager of Tata Consultancy Services due to my capabilities of training so I have mastered various techniques to bring out the best out of my students. Alongside Indian Classical music I can also train studio techniques to help my students record songs and become a professional playback singer. I am also a social media influencer which allows me to help my students build a career in the digital industry. To summarise, my students will have a wonderful training journey with me due to some of my personal attributes like compassion, patience, sense of humor, leadership abilities and philosophical ideas. Journey My grandfather encouraged us to paint Goddess Laxmi on the wall during Diwali; this is my oldest memory of my creative self. I never dreamt of being an artist, but as a kid, I was always inclined toward painting and even participated in various school-level competitions. I'm from Patna, India, and almost every child goes for engineering or medical. I was no different. I completed my engineering in Information technology in Indore and moved to Pune to work as a software engineer. I worked in top IT companies for a decade, and suddenly, the forgotten love for art came back, searching for me. I started my journey as an artist in early 2019 and eventually became a full-time artist in 2022. Who I'm Hi, I'm Mohini Sinha, a self-taught acrylic artist. I love creating realistic paintings of nature, be it beautiful mountains, breathtaking sea scapes or peaceful birds chirping their way to eternal calmness. I primarily paint using the acrylic medium on all sizes of canvas, paper and even on tiny magnets. I sincerely believe that art can be your primary career; hence, I help those who are starting their journey by teaching them the basics and advanced techniques. I have also taken part in many exhibitions and art fair , in Bangalore, Kolkata , Delhi. I am a Skillshare teacher and have created more than 16 detailed step-by-step tutorials for all levels of learners and helped more than 9,000 students. I also take online and in-person classes/workshops. I sell my original artwork on Etsy and Insta. I also have more than 100 tutorials on my youtube channel. I have my website, where I teach advanced-level painting. "It can be challenging to pursue art as a profession because of the societal norms, but things are changing rapidly with every success story in different artistic fields. Art is something that relaxes not only your mind but also your soul. Keep creating and keep sharing. Once you start sharing, you learn more. Let's help each other achieve our full potential."
