About Me

I am Ansh Walia, a full-time Indian classical musician from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Rooted in the Maihar Gharana, I proudly carry the legacy of Bharat Ratna Pt. Ravi Shankar Ji, and currently train under Pt. Shubhendra Rao Ji.

I work as a freelance performer, educator, and music therapist, and have actively contributed to the world of music for over 8 years.

I am the founder of “Sound of Universe Matangi”, a spiritual sound healing foundation dedicated to promoting India’s cultural and musical heritage.
Through this initiative:

We organize Indian classical music baithaks,

Collaborate with renowned artists across genres,

Conduct poetry and ghazal evenings,

Offer music workshops, and

Provide sound healing therapy to help individuals cope with mental stress, anxiety, and emotional imbalance.


Our mission is to create a therapeutic, musical environment that fosters inner peace, spiritual growth, and cultural awareness.
