If selenium driver is crashed (or hanged) your selenium language bindings will respond with some specific exception. You can listen for this exception and perform the action you need: Most probably just stop the execution You also can try to repeat the action (if you believe the driver is just hanged) Or relaunch driver and continue execution. Of course this step is the hardest because you'll need to get the browser in the same state as it was before the crash Anyway driver crash is a pretty serious bug. Please take a time to submit a bug for this, or update the driver and environment to the latest versions as it may be already fixed. read less

if selenum is crashing is it the point dure to exception handling, please check once as per my upderstanding Selenium crash due to over head , broken flow or dipricated method used and also if version of selenium, browser and java does not match or vice versa .
