Hi Manish,
I agree with everyone that you need to have the skillset to survive in the IT industry, but before that, you need to get there. So to get inside, you should go ahead and complete your B.Tech first.
You can check the kind of jobs that are available to a Diploma holder and the kind of jobs that are available to the Degree holder. You will notice the difference.
Alongside B.Tech pick up Java or Python (as per your interest) and complete at least 6-7 projects. Also, upload each of your project on GitHub. Recruiters these days ask for your Github profile.
Finally, if you decide to study B.Tech, do it from a good college. The reputation of the college can help you land in a good job.

To start with, yes you will need a computer (Desktop/Laptop) to learn SAP/install software etc. You can install the software on your desktop, laptop just adds to the portability.
The basic (recommended) hardware and software requirements are :-
Hard Disk:- 45GB Hard Disk Free Space
RAM − Minimum 4 GB RAM(again recommended)
CPU − Intel Dual Core or Core 2 Duo Processor (or any higher version)
Operating System - Windows server 2003 32-bit SP 2 or Windows Sever 2003 64-bit (or any higher version)
