IdentityQualifications: Bsc microbiology hons(Gold Medalist), Msc microbiology(Gold Medalist),GATE, NET(LS), Pursuing Phd in cell and molecular biology at AJC Bose institute-kolkata since 2011(Senior research fellow).
I began dealing with the students pursuing their Bsc in microbiology and biochemistry in 2013. My objective is to attain the mission of shaping the destiny of young, whimsical, dynamic students by sharing with them the basic fundamentals of bacteriology, cell and molecular biology, biomolecules and their metabolism, genetics, to name few, thereby laying a strong foundation for their higher studies in the specified fields. I stick to the logical method of interacting with my students in every session of my teaching,turning them acquainted with various sub-disciplines of these fields, beginning with the basics and then unraveling before them the complicated aspects of every phenomenon in detail, in a too simple and scientific way..I usually focus on developing the problem solving and reasoning aspects of every topic/phenomenon,of my students. My areas of special interest include bacterial genetics,clinical microbiology of various diseases and the related drug biology,metabolism of proteins-lipids-carbohydrates, basic biotechnology covering the fundamentals of cloning-vectors-southern,northern and western blotting-DNA fingerprinting,organic reactions, to name few. I do further attempt to kindle a zeal among my students,to
prepare themselves for various competitive examinations (GATE, NET).
