IdentityI have a little over 6 years of teaching and mentoring experience, working with both school and college-level students. My teaching journey began during my PhD at Washington State University, USA, where I spent 4 years teaching undergraduate biology and mentoring more than 30 students on their coursework, experiments, and research skills. During my Post-Doctoral work, I continued teaching and delivered 10+ guest lectures in biotechnology, molecular biology, Genetics, Microbiology and plant science.
Over the years, I’ve realised that every student learns differently. Some need simple explanations, some need visual examples, and some need a bit more patience and structure. I try to meet students, whether it’s a school student trying to build strong basics or a college student preparing for exams or projects. My approach is practical, step-by-step, and focused on helping concepts “click” in a natural, understandable way.
My goal is to make science feel approachable, reduce the fear around tough chapters, and help students develop clarity, confidence, and strong problem-solving skills — no matter what level they start from.
