Ashutosh Banerjee - Professional Chess Coach with more than 15 years of experience in this field

I am Ashutosh Banerjee, a professional Chess Coach and International FIDE-rated chess player. I teach Chess to students and have extensive experience in the field, both as a player and as a coach. My aim is to help students improve their understanding of the game, sharpen their analytical thinking, and develop greater confidence in competitive play.

I am currently pursuing my Master of Science (M.Sc.). Alongside my academic background, I am an International FIDE-rated Chess Player with a FIDE rating of 1998 and FIDE ID 35070932. My experience as an active chess player allows me to understand the game from both a competitive and training perspective.

I have more than 15 years of experience in the field of Chess and have spent a significant part of my journey understanding the different strategic and tactical aspects of the game. I use this practical knowledge while coaching students and helping them approach positions with greater clarity and discipline.

One of my major achievements in Chess is winning a Bronze Medal at the Commonwealth level. This experience has given me exposure to high-level competition and has strengthened my understanding of preparation, focus, decision-making, and tournament strategy.

Apart from Chess, I am also a Data Scientist, Programmer, and Mathematician by profession. My background in these areas supports my analytical approach to coaching and helps me explain patterns, calculation, logical thinking, and structured decision-making in a clear manner.

I offer both online and offline Chess coaching. My goal is to help students improve their strategic thinking, tactical awareness, calculation abilities, and overall confidence so that they can develop a stronger understanding of Chess and perform more effectively in competitive situations.
