you can start with learning basics of electronics thats the hardware and then by learning basics of programming(c,c++) this will give the logical decision capability to your robot.

To Learn Robotics one must have a basic knowledge of motors, chassis,C programming, Microcontrollers etc. Today Arduino is very famous to get sparked towards Robotics.

Now a days raspberry pi board is very very famous..everyone used this board in foregin country..Surely it will come on after 1 or 2 years to india..This is the gud time to learn this board...in this board programming language is python...inside of the os is linux(rasbian)
