I have learnt Java programming from Robinson and the way he explored Java was amazing. He has covered every aspect and detail on how Java is built and how internally it works. He explained the details on how memory is organized in Java and how it is been efficiently used. With respect to coverage: He covered JVM and OOPs concepts. He is very definite on the architecture and design with respect to real world applications. He covered the design patterns and made me understand how it can be applied during any real world application development. One thing which can be covered in detailed is JDBC. I thought its not covered in a detailed way but with the OOPs and Java architecture it made me easy to understand.
