I teach Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, and Tableau, with a strong focus on practical, industry-oriented skills and data analysis. I have over 32 years of teaching and academic experience and have worked as a Professor and Director of Engineering at a university. My extensive experience allows me to combine strong fundamentals with practical knowledge that students can apply in real-world situations.

I hold a Master of Engineering/Master of Technology (M.E./M.Tech.) degree and am an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur. My academic background, engineering experience, and more than three decades in education have helped me develop strong expertise in technical and analytical areas. I bring this combination of academic knowledge and practical experience into my training sessions.

My experience in education and training has been extremely rewarding. Over the past 32 years, I have taught and trained students from diverse backgrounds and supported their academic and professional development. As a former Professor and Director of Engineering, I have also gained extensive experience in mentoring, academic leadership, and helping learners develop practical technical skills.

I particularly enjoy teaching technical concepts in a way that is simple, practical, and easy to apply. When teaching Excel, Power BI, and Tableau, I focus not only on explaining individual features but also on helping students understand how these tools can be used for data analysis and real-world problem-solving. I believe that hands-on practice is essential for developing confidence with technical software.

I follow a structured lesson plan while keeping my sessions interactive and student-focused. I begin by explaining the concept clearly and then reinforce it through practical examples and hands-on exercises. I encourage students to ask questions and participate actively throughout the session. My approach is systematic and application-oriented so that students can understand how to use what they learn beyond the classroom.

I make my classes practical by focusing on learning by doing rather than relying only on theoretical explanations. I have a collection of around 50 Excel practice sheets covering different topics, including advanced Excel functions and formulas. I use these practice exercises to give students real-world problems, explain the concepts step by step, and encourage them to practise during the session.

I offer online classes and customise my training according to the student's level, goals, and professional requirements. Whether a student wants to learn Excel from the basics, master advanced Excel functions, understand Power BI, or work with Tableau for data analysis, I aim to provide practical and structured guidance. My goal is to help students develop useful, industry-oriented skills that they can confidently apply in academic, professional, and real-world situations.
