I am a Career Counsellor and educator with experience in guiding students towards making informed academic and career decisions. I have been teaching and counselling students for the past 1 year, with a particular focus on helping students understand their strengths, explore suitable career options, and prepare themselves for future opportunities. I believe that career decisions become easier when students have the right information, guidance, and confidence to understand their own interests and abilities.

I am a postgraduate with an M.Tech in Power Electronics. I am also a UCLA-certified Career Counsellor and have completed professional training through the Global Career Counselling team. My technical and counselling background allows me to bring both analytical thinking and a structured approach to career guidance. I use this combination to help students look at their academic and career choices from different perspectives rather than making decisions based only on marks or external expectations.

My areas of expertise include career counselling, stream and subject selection, career exploration, CV building, skill development, and international readiness. I also have experience in content creation and video editing, as well as junior-level French. In addition, I have taught English and Moral Studies to students in Class 10. These varied experiences help me understand the importance of developing not only academic knowledge but also communication, creative, and practical skills that can support students in their future education and careers.

I am also the founder of CareerSparks, where I focus on empowering students from Class 8 onwards to make informed career choices and prepare for future opportunities. I believe that career planning should begin early enough for students to understand their options without feeling pressured to make immediate decisions. Through CareerSparks, I aim to help students become more aware of their strengths, build confidence, explore possibilities, and develop the skills required to move towards their goals.

My counselling approach is structured, student-centric, and interactive. I begin by understanding the student's interests, strengths, personality, academic background, concerns, and career aspirations. Based on this understanding, I create a personalised counselling plan that addresses the areas most relevant to the student. Depending on their requirements, this may include stream selection, subject choices, career exploration, skill development, CV building, or preparation for international academic opportunities.

I believe career counselling should be practical rather than purely theoretical. During my sessions, I use interactive discussions, assessments, practical activities, and real-life examples to help students understand different choices and their possible outcomes. I encourage students to ask questions, express their concerns openly, and actively participate in the decision-making process. Instead of simply telling students what career they should choose, I help them understand their options and develop the confidence to make informed decisions themselves.

I provide both online and offline counselling sessions and focus on giving students clear direction after every session. I provide practical action steps that students can work on based on their individual goals, whether they are exploring career options, choosing a stream, developing skills, preparing a CV, or planning for future opportunities. My goal is to make career guidance a supportive and empowering process that helps students understand themselves better, make informed choices, and confidently take the next steps towards their academic and career aspirations.
