I teach English and Bengali to students from Class 1 to Class 5 and have around one year of teaching experience. I enjoy working with young learners and helping them develop a strong foundation in language from an early stage. My focus is on making lessons clear, engaging, and easy to understand so that students can learn comfortably and gradually become more confident in their abilities.

I am a postgraduate in English and have completed my M.A. in English along with a B.Ed. My academic background has given me a strong understanding of the English language as well as effective teaching practices. I have also cleared two papers of CTET and STET and hold a West Bengal Primary TET qualification certificate, which has further strengthened my preparation for teaching school-level students.

My teaching experience has been a very positive learning journey for me. Working with students has helped me become more patient, confident, and effective in communicating concepts. I understand that young learners may have different learning speeds and requirements, so I try to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and participating in the class.

I follow a structured and learner-centred teaching methodology. Before beginning a topic, I consider the student's existing level of understanding and learning requirements and prepare my lessons accordingly. I believe that a well-planned class helps students stay focused while also allowing enough flexibility to address their individual doubts and areas of difficulty.

For English, I focus on important areas such as grammar, vocabulary, communication skills, and confidence building. I use practical examples and activities to help students understand language concepts and apply them in different situations. While teaching Bengali, I similarly focus on helping students develop clarity in the language and build a strong foundation through appropriate explanations and regular practice.

I have received formal training in lesson planning, classroom management, student assessment, and learner-centered teaching. I use these skills to organize my classes effectively and ensure that students remain actively involved in the learning process. I also use regular assessments to understand how well students are progressing and identify areas where they may need additional practice or explanation.

I conduct online classes and use resources such as PPTs and a whiteboard to make my lessons more organised and interactive. My goal is to make learning enjoyable while ensuring that students develop strong language fundamentals. I want my students to improve their understanding of English and Bengali, build confidence in using the languages, and develop a positive attitude towards learning.
