I am a Kannada language tutor and a native Kannada speaker with 1 year of teaching experience. I specialise in helping non-Kannada speakers learn practical spoken Kannada for everyday communication in Karnataka. My classes are designed especially for beginners, students, working professionals, and anyone who wants to become more comfortable using Kannada in daily life.

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T.). Although I am pursuing my studies in the healthcare field, Kannada has always been a language I am comfortable speaking, and I enjoy helping people who are new to the language communicate more confidently. I am also proficient in English, which allows me to explain Kannada concepts comfortably to beginners.

My teaching focuses on practical, everyday Kannada rather than only textbook-based learning. I cover useful vocabulary, pronunciation, common expressions, sentence formation, and conversations that learners are likely to use in real-life situations. Depending on the student's requirements, I can focus on areas such as workplace communication, travelling, shopping, social interactions, and everyday conversations.

I follow a simple, interactive, and student-focused teaching approach. I understand that learning a new language can initially feel challenging, especially when students are unfamiliar with its pronunciation and sentence structure. I therefore introduce concepts gradually, explain them in simple terms, and give students plenty of opportunities to practise speaking during the sessions.

I conduct my classes online and use PPT presentations and a digital whiteboard to make lessons clear and organised. I encourage students to participate actively, repeat and practise new words and phrases, and use them in practical conversations. I also adapt the lesson content according to the student's existing knowledge, learning pace, and specific communication goals.

My classes are suitable for beginners who are starting Kannada from scratch as well as learners who already understand some Kannada but want to improve their speaking confidence. I personalise the sessions according to the learner's needs and focus on the situations they are most likely to encounter in their daily lives.

My goal is to make Kannada learning simple, comfortable, and useful. Through practical conversations, clear explanations, pronunciation practice, and personalised lessons, I aim to help learners gradually overcome their hesitation and communicate more confidently in Kannada in everyday situations across Karnataka.
