I am Kanchan S., a dedicated French language educator with 2 years of experience in teaching French to learners at beginner and foundational proficiency levels. I enjoy introducing students to the French language in a simple, engaging, and approachable way. For me, teaching is not just about explaining vocabulary and grammar but also about helping students become comfortable with a new language and gradually develop the confidence to use it.

I primarily work with beginners, including students who are starting French from scratch. I introduce learners to French at the A1 level as per the CEFR framework and focus on building a strong foundation from the very beginning. My classes are designed for students who may have little or no prior exposure to French, and I make sure that lessons progress at a pace that allows them to understand and practise each concept properly.

My teaching approach focuses on making language learning structured, interactive, and enjoyable. I cover essential areas such as vocabulary, basic grammar, sentence formation, pronunciation, and everyday communication. Rather than expecting students to memorise everything at once, I encourage them to understand how the language works and gradually use new words and expressions in meaningful situations.

I believe that regular practice is an important part of learning any language. During my classes, I encourage students to participate, ask questions, practise speaking, and revisit concepts regularly. I use simple explanations and practical examples to make lessons easier to follow, especially for young learners and beginners who are still developing familiarity with French.

I have experience teaching students from schools such as Rainbow School of Paris and Ecole Rodin in Hauts-de-Seine, France. This experience has helped me understand the importance of adapting lessons to a student's existing level, learning environment, and individual requirements. I aim to create classes where students feel comfortable making mistakes because mistakes are a natural and important part of learning a new language.

Along with French, I am proficient in English and have a strong command of Hindi, which helps me communicate clearly with students and explain concepts in a language they are comfortable with. I have completed my Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IIMM, which has also contributed to my overall communication, organisation, and professional skills.

I particularly enjoy working with young learners and helping them develop an early interest in French. My objective is to make the language feel approachable rather than difficult, while gradually building their vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, comprehension, and confidence. I believe that when students enjoy the learning process, they are more motivated to practise consistently and make steady progress.

Whether a student is learning French as a new language or wants to strengthen their foundation, I aim to provide patient and personalised guidance throughout the learning journey. My goal is to help every learner develop a solid understanding of basic French and become confident enough to use the language in everyday situations. I conduct my classes online and focus on creating a friendly, structured, and supportive learning experience for every student.
