IdentityWith a rich tapestry of experience spanning over 5 years in school teaching and an additional 3 years of home tuition, I have dedicated myself to shaping the academic journey of young learners. Armed with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from the 1997 batch, my journey as an educator has been marked by resilience, passion, and a commitment to excellence.
Following my graduation, I embarked on a fulfilling career in teaching, spending three years in formal educational institutions. However, life took me on a different path, and after a hiatus of 10 years due to personal commitments, I returned to the realm of education, reigniting my passion for teaching. For the past 5 years, I have been imparting knowledge and guidance to students in schools, before transitioning to conducting home tuition sessions for the past 3 years.
Despite the gap in my teaching career, my dedication to fostering a love for learning and academic success remained unwavering. My approach to tutoring is rooted in personalized attention and interactive engagement. I prioritize clearing doubts and assisting students with their homework, ensuring that they have a solid understanding of the material covered in their school curriculum.
During my sessions, I utilize a variety of teaching materials, including individual tuition books and printed worksheets for subjects like grammar and math. Additionally, I incorporate extra-curricular activities to enhance the learning experience and foster holistic development among my students.
Regular assessments are integral to my teaching methodology, and I conduct tests daily to monitor students' progress and identify areas for improvement. Furthermore, I believe in cultivating good reading habits and foundational skills such as multiplication tables, dedicating time for compulsory reading and practicing tables daily.
As I continue on this journey of nurturing young minds, I am committed to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment where students can thrive academically and personally. Each day presents a new opportunity to inspire and empower students to reach their full potential, and I am grateful for the privilege to be a part of their educational journey.
