I have experience teaching Tabla to students of different age groups and skill levels. I teach Tabla in a simple, systematic, and practical way, starting from basic hand techniques, bols, finger movements, and rhythm patterns to advanced compositions and performance techniques. I teach both Classical and Light Music, along with different Taals, Kaydas, Relas, Tukdas, Tihais, and basic Gharana concepts. I focus on developing proper rhythm, timing, hand coordination, clarity of bols, and confidence in playing. I have taught Tabla to many students, and several of my students have gained confidence and are performing in devotional programs, cultural events, stage performances, and other musical programs. I also teach students how to accompany singers and other instrumentalists while maintaining proper taal and rhythm. My teaching approach is friendly, patient, and suitable for beginners as well as intermediate and advanced learners. I guide students through regular practice and gradually help them progress from basic Tabla playing to more advanced compositions and performances.
