I've been playing chess for over 6 years now and currently hold a 1500 rating on Chess.com. I’ve led my school/college chess team in competitions and have also taught several junior students over the years. Teaching chess is something I really enjoy because I love seeing the improvement in my students.
I’m a patient and very good communicator, so I make sure even tricky concepts feel simple and fun. My classes are interactive — we play together, analyse games, and focus on what actually helps you improve.
Beyond just chess moves, I believe learning chess genuinely helps in real life. It sharpens problem-solving skills, improves pattern recognition, and teaches you how to think ahead and stay calm under pressure — abilities that are useful in studies, decision-making, and almost every area of life.
Whether your child is a complete beginner or you want to get better yourself, I’ll create personalised lessons that are enjoyable and effective. I conduct online 1-on-1 classes via Zoom with screen sharing on Chess.com or Lichess. Flexible timings available.
