Hello Sir,
You can't expect a 6-7-year-old kid to sit and learn or write patiently. He is new to the environment, like online classes or sitting with parent and study. He is too young to understand things or sit and learn.
All you can do is when the kid is playing with you, you can recite numbers or sing alphabet song continuously even if he doesn't care.
You take 4-5 minutes out of your day and read any book, even if it is a newspaper sitting in front of the kid, making this habit a regular one.
I am sure he will do the same.
