My experience as a faculty member has been both grounding and deeply fulfilling. Teaching students has helped me grow not just as an educator, but also as a learner. Every classroom interaction pushes me to stay updated, think clearly, and explain complex concepts in a simple, relatable way. Over time, I’ve learned that effective teaching is less about delivering content and more about connecting with students and understanding how they learn. Working with students from diverse academic backgrounds has taught me patience and adaptability. Some grasp concepts quickly, while others need reassurance and repeated explanations, and learning to support both has shaped my teaching style. I try to focus on practical examples, real-world applications, and open discussions so students feel comfortable asking questions and thinking independently. Being a faculty member has also strengthened my communication, planning, and mentoring skills. Guiding students through projects, evaluations, and career-related doubts has been especially rewarding. Their small breakthroughs, growing confidence, and appreciation make the effort worthwhile. It has reinforced my belief that teaching is a two-way process, where growth happens for both the students and the teacher.
