Why do graduate economics students often have exceptionally high quantitative aptitude?

I don't agree to this at all. Mostly people who are good in aptitude are the ones who have prepared for some major entrance exam..like for IIT JEE

The only difference will be instead from having 0-9 we will have 0-9 and then A & B. Try it now. Or you can convert every thing on a base of 10 get the answer and convert it back to base 12.
