ans is 40.... 108/12 (9+3) = 9 which is 1st no.. 78/13 (6+7)=6 which is 1st no. 48/12 (4+8)=4 which is 1st no. similarly .. X/8=5 therfore X= 8*5=40 thus ans is 40.

Solution : 9+3=13 now multiply 13 with 9 = 108 , Similarly 6+7=13 now multiply 13 with 6 = 78 , again 4+8 = 12 now multiply 12 with 4 = 48 Hence, 5+3=40 , So answer is 40.
