Python 2 is outdated, while Python 3 is standard. Print is a function in Python 3 but a statement in Python 2. Division in Python 3 returns a float, whereas Python 2 returns an integer. Unicode is default in Python 3 but requires a prefix in Python 2. Modern libraries support only Python 3.
