How does the Python version numbering scheme work?

Python version numbering is very important to know. Currently python27 is the most stable version. This is important to know because, few packages will not support in python26. There are some package which will not work on python27. So finally the version depends on your requirement.

Is it possible to learn C++ and Python at the same time?
No, Always learn and master one programming language and then Choose other. If you learn two different languages same time your written programme will fail due to the incomplete knowledge of programming. I suggest you to learn python first then c++.
