Why should it be difficult if you know a bit of python programming and quadratic equations. You must be aware that the solution for quadratic equation ax^2+bx+c = 0 is x = -b +sqrt(b^2-4ac)/2a and x = -b-sqrt(b^2-4ac)/2a So basically you take inputs in a, b and c and output the x as defined above.
