Hi, can anyone tell me where I can learn more and be professionally guided on 1-1 basis , on Machine Learning and Deep learning using Python? I already have statistics and programming background

I would first recommend taking some good Linear Algebra course, you would need some intuitive understanding about concepts like linear leas squares, singular value decomposition, normal equations,etc. before starting machine learning. Deep Learning as a concept can be learned but for practical implementation you would need large data sets and also good processing power(GPUs). So I would recommend getting started on basic machine learning algorithms and then gradually move to Deep learning. This would give a good understanding about methods used in the particular problem domain. Though getting good data sets wont be an issue nowadays, getting a proper understanding on the fundamentals would be largely helpful as you wont be wasting time stuck at places(provided you have the compute power) and a terrible waste of your resources. There are many free online courses which teaches implementation but then they assume you know the fundamentals. I would be glad to help, please do provide the domain which you are planning to use Deep Learning. read less

Dive into Internet. Download few good books in Python. Don't worry all of them will teach you from "Hello World" program. You have chosen the right language to start with; i.e. Python. Then install Python 2.7 or 3.4 on a computer. Rad the down loaded ebook and keep practising the programming exercises there. Soon you will become a pro. But don't stop there go through the Python.org site to read about various APIs so that you will get to know about advanced library functions which is going to help you in your programming task. If you are interested more in Python then go for the Web development framework with with Python called Django or Flask. Happy Pythoning. read less
