UGC NET PAPER I IMPORTANCE: The paper 1 of UGC NET is of 100 marks out of total 350 marks and consists of 50 questions (out of 60 ) with an average 1 minute 30 seconds per question but if you consider 60 questions, it reduces to 1 minute 15 seconds ( since you have go through all the questions). Paper 1 of UGC NET focuses on 10 topics that range from quantitative ability to Government, to Info tech to polity and administration; a very wide range indeed, The marks of this paper are counted for determining your aggregate percentage where only top 15% of total candidates are selected of the total that appear for exam all over India. This paper allows you to score well and tilt the balance in your favor. The paper for your own streams Paper II and Paper III of UGC NET is very wide in scope and scoring is difficult, as such all papers have become objective so scoring well will now become tougher.
CLASS DETAILS At GDPI4U: we cover the full course for UGC NET paper 1, Paper 2(Management) and Paper 3 (Marketing) through videos and teaching in either 2-month (fast track) or 5-month (regular) time, for 2-month there is a 3 hour class daily from Mon-Fri, 5 days a week. For 5-month the class is Mon-Wed-Fri or Tue-Thu-Sat 1.5 hours per day, 5 days a week.
HOW WE TRAIN AND COST: Students are trained for speed and accuracy. In each class of UGC NET coaching, students undergo a test on the topics covered in the previous class, every day. The wrong answers in tests are again explained to them. Handouts and study material are provided and students are given worksheets every day for solving at home. Tips and tricks for attempting the UGC NET paper is explained. This ensures that concepts become clear and they get a lot of practice prior to the exam.
