IdentityI am a certified Career Development Facilitator (CDF), who on behalf of Dheya Career Mentors Pvt. Ltd. conducts career guidance and career planning sessions for students from 9th grade to post graduate levels through different modes of delivery such as telephonic, video calling, or face to face whichever is applicable.
As a CDF, my focus is to inspire young minds and mentor them to achieve the best in life by understanding their own unique potential and personalities, which is of course unique, and link it to the occupational demands in industry while developing an individualized career development plan and guiding the child and parents towards a successful life for the child.
I have over ten years of experience in administration, accounting, medical transcription, and teaching field serving in Govt. undertaking and private sector. I have had the privilege of travelling and living in many countries like New Zealand, Indonesia, Africa, Gulf, USA, Singapore, and Canada, etc. The experiences in those countries ultimately shaped who I am and how I perceive the world. I thought it would be an opportune time to reflect on some of these experiences as I work with students and parents who have questions about different careers and educational paths. In no particular order, I offer up some of the most important life lessons I have learned from my adventures abroad.
